Description: Discover how colour therapy turns art into healing and learn gentle tips for packing treasured handmade pieces when you move. A calming read for stressed creators.
It all starts on a busy scheduled day when you are stressed. You wait a day for things to get better, then two, three — nothing improves. Out of nowhere, you finally take out all your art and craft materials and feel as if you are an artist; you begin to use your creative skills. It may mean nothing to others, and I have no clue how much this adds value for a non-creative person, but the creative ones will totally understand what I’m trying to express.
You just see those vibrant blues, greens, oranges, pinks, and reds, and that becomes your free therapy with colours! Your eyes literally witness wonders as they see paintbrushes dipped in water and making brushstrokes on the canvas.
This is what colour therapy is to me, and this beauty is something every individual should witness — at least those who are stressed or whose daily routine includes overthinking. Until now everything seems good and perfect, but the real trouble comes when you move out from one place to a new place and it’s time to pack all those materials that have been lying on the floor for ages.
Now it’s time to pack all those timeless memories into a carton box, bind them together, and wrap them so that no corner breaks. It feels like a heartbreak to witness an art-and-craft item you brought to life shattered into pieces, leaving you helpless.
It’s time to pack them with patience, time, and a heavy heart so they don’t break, even though they won’t get to breathe for a while. These handmade items that you brought to life are no longer just showpieces; you now see them as your therapy for sleepless nights and for calming overthinking thoughts, with the hope that this hard time will pass.
Keeping all these emotions aside, now it’s time to pack!
